MeshAgent Accounts is the account and project-management interface for MeshAgent. Use it when you need to manage the parts of MeshAgent that live above any one room:
  • projects
  • project members and roles
  • user profiles, metadata, and annotations
  • billing and AI credits
  • usage reports
MeshAgent Accounts works alongside MeshAgent Studio and Powerboards. Studio is the developer workspace. Powerboards is the end-user room experience. MeshAgent Accounts is where you manage account and project administration.

What it is for

  • Create and switch between projects.
  • Manage project members and roles.
  • Edit user names, metadata, and annotations.
  • View project balance and add credits.
  • Configure auto-recharge and an optional monthly auto-recharge budget.
  • Review usage reports for a project.

How it relates to the other interfaces

  • Use MeshAgent Accounts for project membership, user profiles, billing, and usage.
  • Use MeshAgent Studio for rooms, services, routes, mailboxes, secrets, sessions, and developer workflows.
  • Use Powerboards for end-user room experiences and install flows.
Although MeshAgent Accounts is its own app, the resources you manage there are still mostly project-scoped. Billing, usage, and members are selected per project, not shared globally across every project in your account. If a project uses MeshAgent LLM Proxy, the related provider usage and proxy surcharge roll up into that project’s billing and usage views.

Edit user profiles

  1. Open MeshAgent Accounts and select the project.
  2. Open Access Management.
  3. Open the menu next to a user and choose Edit….
  4. Update the first and last names, Metadata, and, when permitted, Annotations, then choose Save.
Edit… edits project-local overrides and appears only with the project’s user_profile_editor permission, including for your own project profile. Owners and admins inherit this permission; developers and ordinary members need an explicit grant. Edit global profile… is available on your own user row and edits your shared account names and metadata. Metadata is a JSON object and can contain nested objects, arrays, numbers, booleans, and strings. Annotation values are strings. Saving either map replaces its previous contents; an empty map clears it. User rows display the merged profile: global defaults with project-local overrides applied. The project editor loads only stored overrides and offers Use global first/last name controls to restore inheritance. Empty local metadata or annotations reveal global values. Project edits affect only the selected project. The Sysadmin app’s Global Users screen supports search and global profile editing, including global annotations; both sysadmin scope and membership are required. For permissions, see IAM Roles and Permissions. For programmatic updates, see User profiles in the REST API.
